Index Card a Day 2017 – Day 1, 2, 3, 4
I’m back today with something different and new to me, ICAD which stands for Index Card a Day. This is a challenge that starts every year on the 1st of June ( you can click the link and read all about it on that website if you are interested). I really wanted to try it for several years now and I don’t know how it happened but I never got it in time, so this year, when I remembered about it, I said I’ll give it a try.
Basically, Index Card a Day is a daily creative exercise in which you create a piece of art on an index card (3 x 5 inches) for 61 days ( that is if you can stick to it LOL). You can use any medium you like and feel comfortable with, the card can be as simple or as complex as you wish, you can follow the prompts or not, so, as you can see, you have lots of creative freedom. What matters is you have lots of fun playing every day, practicing and exploring techniques and supplies. You can see the Index Card a Day prompts and read all the details here https://daisyyellowart.com/icad-base/.
Sooo, for today I have for you the first 4 cards and I’m officially in! YAY!!!
From day 5 on, I will try to video my process every day, so yes, you will hopefully have a video a day from me, with fun and inspiring projects. What about that? 🙂 So, go on to my channel and subscribe, this way you’ll never miss a video. 🙂
