ICAD challenge – Day #7 “Never give up”

ICAD challenge  – Day #7 “Never give up”

Hi guys,

I’m back with the ICAD challenge Day #7 “Never give up”.

***

For the ones of you who didn’t read my first blog post, ICAD is a challenge that starts every year on the 1st of June, hosted by Tammy Garcia on her website. Basically, ICAD is a daily creative exercise in which you create a piece of art on an index card (3 x 5 inches) for 61 days ( that is if you can stick to it LOL). You can use any medium you like and feel comfortable with, the card can be as simple or as complex as you wish, you can follow the prompts or not, so, as you can see, you have lots of creative freedom. What matters is you have lots of fun playing every day, practicing and exploring techniques and supplies. You can see the Index Card a Day prompts and read all the details here https://daisyyellowart.com/icad-base/.

ICAD challenge - Day #7 "Never give up"

I had lots of fun creating this ICAD and I hope you’ll like it like it and find it inspiring. I am sharing with you my creative process in the video below and you’ll be able to see how, while working, your Muse might disagree with you and lead you towards a different outcome, showing you who is in charge after all. 🙂 🙂 🙂

As I was working and I wasn’t pleased with where this card was going, my attention was caught by a print, of one of my paintings, that was lying around on my table. So I fussy cut a section of it and… BANG! She was always meant to be there, don’t you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a great day, my friends and don’t forget to check out my popular Online Workshops, great for both, beginners as well as more experienced artists. 🙂 I’d be delighted to see you in the classroom!

Much love,
