Welcome to the Art Journaling YouTube Hop 2, hosted by lovely Keren Tamir. The theme for our new hop is “What does Art Journaling Mean to you?”

I started art journaling a few years ago and I never stopped since - I became addicted to it. LOL
So, why do I love it so much and what art journaling means to me in the first place?
Well, for one thing, art journaling helps me to express myself without fear (it’s just an art journal right?). It helps me to freely experiment and practice with new techniques and media and document my creative process along the way ( sometimes ideas for future paintings are emerging). … it’s a safe space where I can invite my Muse to guide my steps through my art journey…
And last, but not least it’s time spent with yourself, in an accepting and open way, without pressure or stress. It is a form of creative self-care if you like, expressing and exploring your feelings through colour, image, shape and writing.

View Commentloved this one alot, i enjoyed the hop, i watched them all last night. i am a beginner artist, with no skills and few supplies, so i am learning so much from thee video’s. since i am disabled, money is tight so i use alot of cereal box canvas, it works pretty good..lol. im looking forward to seeing more vids from everyone, making some new friends and learnng alot 🙂
